This little chicken flew into my former Bishop's back yard yesterday and I was the first person they thought of calling. They didn't know what to do with her, so I told them I would take her. Meet Widdow...as in Widdow Chicken. She is about the size of a pigeon and about 1/4 the size of my other chickens and not very popular with them...the old biddies. Hopefully they will all warm up to each other...we'll see. The kids were sure excited about her when they came home this morning.

Just call you "animal rescue shelter". And what is that chicken doing on that stack of paper?
Well, before she was done...she was doing what birds do....Now she stays outside with the others.
